    Hello there

I'm very bad at starting things. Stories, introductions, whatever it may be. It's all just too awkward and uncomfortable for my liking.

Well, my real name is Charlotte. I don't like it. It means 'little woman', which I find patronising. Thanks, Mum.

I'm 18, I live in rainy England. At college I study English Literature, English Language and Psychology.

My favourite quote is one of Plato's which states: 'Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.' I also like to use this as an excuse when I can't be bothered to answer someone.

I'm also bad at ending things...

Well, you're not the only person here who has trouble starting and ending things.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you like it here and that your experiences here help you in your writing and life.

Welcome Charlotte!! I'm definitely not the most seasoned person on this site. Actually I just joined today, but I do know how awkward it is to do online introductions. My boss is from England, he is always talking about the differences in comparison to America. I hope to go with him sometime and view the gardens that he speaks so highly of. Just be yourself and I'm sure you will find your endings come easier as you go along.
BTW I happen to think Charlotte is a good strong name, and you may find as you grow in years that the term "little woman" may turn out to be complimenting, then again maybe not...only time will tell.
Go ahead, speak you mind..you only have one, and one life to live to boot.

Welcome, Charlotte. I like the name. It's more fun than 'Stephanie' at least. By the way, nice quote. It would make a good sig.
