Hey, everyone
Well, I'm an avid reader and aspiring writer, like most of you here. I'm mainly interested in Fantasy, with some of my favorites series being; Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, (where my username comes from) Wheel of Time (before it became really long), Harry Potter, Dragonlance, and the Death Gate Cycle.
I'm relatively young, (not sure if I'm allowed to post my age) but I'm thinking of pursuing a career in writing. I know that you can't just be an author until your successful, so I'm thinking journalist, or possibly a teacher (I like History and English).
I'll be posting the first chapter of my new story soon, (I once wrote a 30-page novel, but it started to fall apart).

There are a lot of young folks around here. I'm used to being the youngest pretty much wherever I wind up; it's nice seeing even younger people aiming to improve their craft. The world needs it.
