Sam Winchester is on a distinguished road

And some people can sing like Whitney Houston at home, but get them on a stage and they crumble with the pressure and expectation. What's your point? I don't mean to sound harsh, Giftedswan. I, too, have thought about going the self-publishing road. It is thanks to people on here that I now look differently at it. Technically speaking, being self-published does make you "published". There are stories of people who've successfully self-published in the past, but these are few and far between. Still, it doesn't make you published in the eyes of anyone who matters. Your novel may sell a thousand copies. It may even sell five-thousand. But, with the proper agent and publisher, your novel would sell much more than that.

Just an opinion.

Sam.
