Introducing myself
Writing into a forum makes me uneasy. (I am introducing myself here so be patient). I am an interpreter and a translator (Spanish/English) so it is not the words that make me uneasy, it's the medium. My translation professor says "Stephanie, you have to get over it. Typewriters are not making a comeback, they are a thing of the past. Computers is what's happening--as a matter of fact, it happened at least 15 years ago so get used to it".
I had to laugh.
I'll tell you why I've joined this forum: you cannot just talk words into your head, at some point you have to either let them pass or express them to someone verbally or in written form. I do not have any friends who are writers, except my girlfriend Sharon and she does not talk about what she writes so I cannot learn from her. She just does it.
I would love to read what you write, see what you think and have a good time at it.

Hi Stephanie, and welcome. I'm sorry to say it, but you won't find any typewriters around here. I'm sure you'll fit in just fine nevertheless, though.
