Guess I've been putting this off long enough... Anyway, names Joe, I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I guess I would call myself an aspiring writer. Being published would be great, especially if I could make a living off of it and quit my crumby job. I mostly read fantasy. I think George R.R. Martin and Steven Erikson are tops in this genre. Recently, though, I've taken a real shine to the true American classics (Twain, Steinbeck, Orwell). I hope to write fantasy, but also modern settings with fantastical twists.
