Heya People!
Hey! I'm new here, I just joined about three minutes ago.
I'm thirteen years old, but serious about writing. I've been writing since I could hold a pen, and reading since before I can remember. I do, however, vividly remember that the first book I ever read cover-to-cover was a picture book about a spider and owl, when I was about three or four...
I recently auditioned for SOTA, which is a school here in San Francisco dedicated to art forms. I chose creative writing, and sent in a portfolio with fifteen of my writing pieces. About two to three hundred people apply for the creative writing program a year, but only eight get in, so wish me luck!
I never, ever, ever write fantasy or sci-fi. I stick to reality, and usually intensified reality. I have to practice writing in third person more, because only about a fourth of my writing is in third person. I do mostly fiction, a little journalism, but poetry from me is very rare. Mostly because I'm not a poet. I like writing short stories much more.
I love critiquing other people's writing, and am particularly harsh, but never insulting.
Anyway, it's really great to be here! Can't wait to start posting!
