Hey All-

I'm a writer/artist up here in Maine, waiting for winter to end. Did I really think Spring would begin in March? Not at all - garden still covered by first snowfall in December - about three feet of snow still there - good for flowers, depressing for me. Wandering around drab frozen dirt looking for green
sprouts - futile still. Sap running, maple trees wearing white pails ---

I write and draw webcomics.

Also wrote two Chapters for a (paid) biography now at agents and editors.

Deep into a novel project, which is why I'm here. Writing can be so damn lonely. Not as lonely now with the internet. Used to be waiting for US Mail to deliver personal letters of encouragement, ideas and critiques.

Hi Suzu and welcome. Spring here on the coast of south Jersey is a little closer; I've seen golfers across the street for a week or so and they're manicuring like crazy. Sometimes I miss the snow and then I remember that in Detroit, I'd still be buried this time of year.

I visited Maine and went camping near Bar Harbor with my parents two summers ago. It's incredibly beautiful there, and the local blueberry wine we got was amazing!
