Hey,
I've just been looking around for some writing forums and i came across this one. it looked good, so i thought i'd give it a try.
Okay so i'm Aksel, and i've basically been writing for most of my life. it's got to be the most exhilirating thing for me. i'm working on two novels at the moment, one of them on and off for about a year. i write a strange hybrid of fantasy and horror, i suppose you could say. i'm not very good at describing my work. i also write weird little short stories, and the occasional poem.
Obviously i love to read (my second favourite activity). my favourite authors are Mervyn Peake, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Susanna Clarke, China Meiville, Stephen King, H. P. Lovecraft, John Connolly, and Anne Rice. i like alot of dark stuff, and i think that pretty much reflects back into my writing.
Anyway i'll shut up now, and just say that i'm looking forward to being a part of this forum.
