Mornin' Everyone!
Morning Everyone!
I wanted to Introduce myself, my name is Tom and I am a new submitter here. And I guess I am the only aspiring writer in the bunch?
I am struggling with genre, but my favorite authors are Patrick O'Brian and Stephen King.
My writing pet peeve is when people use adverbs to describe dialogue.
"This toast needs butter", he said dryly
"Put some of this on", she responded smoothly.
I have one published story, it is a short horror story called "Buried"

What really is encouraging to me is that just when I was at the brink of giving up on writing, I found a mentor / tutor / instructor who has helped me so much that I can never repay him.
