Another New Guy Here
Hey everyone, my name's George. I've checked around the forum and read through some of your work and I'm very inspired. I'm just an amatuer (if I could even be called that) and most of the time I just pick up a pen to let all of my feelings out so that I won't be overwhelmed. I've never taken a serious writing class and I'm looking for motivation, comments and critique. I'm looking forward to sharing my work, expressing my feelings and growing with you all. I guess I'll give you a very short sample of the stuff I like to write.
Untitled
A beautiful rose sits before me.
Its color is red and rich.
Its scent is wonderous.
It is a beauty which none can surpass.
The stem is smooth and inviting.
I pick it and I am victim to it's thorns.
Red blood now streams down my finger.
I don't think I'll ever pick a rose again.
