I am shy, but I'll step up anyway

Hey.

My name is Heather, and I've been writing for about nine years; during that time, I've had about a dozen poems published in the US and two in the UK. I'm more interested in writing novellas/novels though, and I enjoy writing about crime. I'm in high school at the moment, and I'm going to major in anthropology in college.

Currently, I'm really distracted by the throwing up smiley on the side. I've never seen one quite like it before. It's addicting. Or I'm easily amused.

I am a natural oddball, and, like the title says, I'm shy. It can make me difficult to understand at times, which I apologize for. I'm literal, blunt, and unable to understand a good bit of social things. Somehow though, that doesn't follow in my writing; if anything, I speak very rarely outside of my comfort zone, but I'm always told that I write with realistic dialouge. One of the oddities of writing.

But anyway, I've been looking around for a good writing forum for some time now, and this one looks like it, so I'll stick around for awhile.

So... hi.

I'm shy too, but I tend to tell a lot of people off on the forum. I suggest doing it as often as possible.
Welcome.
