Xan says hi
Hi there, another newb' here. New to the forums and new to taking creative writing more seriously. A while back a HS teacher read something I wrote which was semi-autobiographical and said that if I could project that passion into creative writing I could write some interesting stuff. I am shy by nature and she suggested that writing could help me express myself more in different ways.
I usually go by Alex or Xan... the forums wouldn't let me register with Xan for some reason LOL. I rarely use the full version of my name except for formal things and an occasional nom de plume. My mom unrelentingly gave me a girls version of my name which has given me some interesting situations to write about, some of which I try to do so in a comedic way.
Looking forward to learning here.
Alex
