Hi :)

Hi, I just thought I would attempt an introduction here. I am new to writing and I used to not enjoy it at all especially when we were forced to do any kind of writing in class. I recently got inspired to write something and somehow have ended up with two separate stories going at the same time both ending up at chapter 4 before I got stuck. I just recently found this forum and am hoping to learn a lot. I am also new at bookbinding various styles of books, which is a lot of fun. So far I have only made blank books and I just started learning that over Christmas. I also have 2 cats and 3 gerbils and a Chinese hamster and I horseback ride once a week and sometimes show in the summer. I do show jumping as my style of riding and have done so for the last 13 years. I am currently in school to become a Vet tech which is a very intense very crazy program that doesn't leave me a lot of time to do anything other then school while the semester is in. Anyway I look forward to meeting new people and looking through the forum and getting advice on writing. Thank you.

Vilkommen, nice to have horsey riders among us!
Hope you find everything you need here!

Nickie is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello there, and welcome to the forum! I also love horses, but haven't done show jumping. I did more of 'dressure' (don't know how it's called in English) and loved it. Unfortunately, I'm not riding anymore, due to an accident.

Hiya!

Also a rider here (have three of my own, we have a farm of 10, 2 expecting in about a month), with a sister who wants to be a vet tech. Funny coincidence!

Welcome to the forums - there is lots to learn, that is for sure.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone. Nice to see there are lots of horsey people here.

Nickie - Dressure in english is called Dressage. So it is a very similar word.

I am hoping once I am finished school and get work to finally be able to get my own horse. Currently I ride privately owned horses and at the moment a young mare that I am helping to finish off her training.

I am hoping to post parts of my first 2 stories on this forum at some point to get some help with them and ideas because I seem to have reached a point where I am stuck.

Thanks again for the welcome
