Well for starters I am 19 and I write some poetry and im starting to do song writing.
As I lay here out of sight
I wonder if all I’ve said and done is right
Looking threw the failing light
Into the eternal fight between day and night
I see my first star and wish not for things that would be of my delight
I wish for the person that i love
Wishing she was near for me to hold tight
She takes it all away all the fear and all the fight
She is my strength she is my might
When I see you Im high on love, higher than any kite
So here I sit thinking of you so beautiful and always so bright
I wrote this poem because it felt right…

i wrote this when i was about 15, its one of my first poems, as you can tell i was head over heels lol
