I suppose I should introduce myself before i begin to post. To sum it up; I'm 17 years old and I've recently become interested in writing. In the process of applying to university, I found myself incredibly confused with what I want to do with my life. A pretty run of the mill thought I'm sure. Thinking about it, i realized the root of my confusion comes from lack of knowledge of self. In somewhat of a panic, I began to attempt putting words to emotions i was feeling. Here, to my disappointment, i realized that i could not successfully express myself in words.
Since this realization I've been attempting to produce work. I fear it to be clichéd and overdone, but i have to start somewhere. I joined this forum mainly for help with my poetry and writing. However, looking around the forums, this seems like a place where I can learn spades from other writers. I look forward to exploring the forums and sharing my work.
