Give me the mic
My forum name is Softly, but that is from the quote "speak softly and carry a large stick" by Theodore Roosevelt. For some reason I always liked that quote.
I'm an avid reader of eclectic taste. I learn new things and become very focused on them for a time. I've always liked writing whether it was poetry, journaling, diaries, letters or in the last few years, stories. My spelling is average, my grammar probably sucks, but the urge to write is always a presence in my mind urging me forward. So I decided to find some place that would or could help.

Hey, Softly,
I like you already and am glad to welcome you to the forum!
Next stop, you may want to contact an admin to correct the typo in your name unless you'd like to leave it that way in the name of serendipity.

Did I mention that I also have cartoons running around in my head and my humor is um, quite developed (or not...sometimes it's ribald)
