What Can I Say That's Original...
Hello all.
My name is Malone and I majored in Writing with an emphasis/focus on Fiction. I've been published before, but threw everything I wrote in college away for a fresh start. Most people tell me this is crazy, but I suffer from a series of psychological ailments (manic depression, anxiety, ADD, OCD, if anyone is actually interested in that kind of thing) that cause me to do such things, so crazy could be an apt desricption.
I just finished writing my first novel, Everyday Madness And Other Reasons To Die and I'm editing/revising it now. It's a fictionalized version of several years of my life. I joined the group in hopes of receiving worthwile feedback and criticism.
I currently live in a shack in the woods with a tin roof that is loud when it rains. I don't have a computer (or electricity for that matter) and I hand write everything then type it up at the library. I've isolated myself from friends and family, and my only companions now are a herd of deer, each of whom I've named Francis.
Nice to meet everyone. I'll be posting my novel in portions at the Critique forum. Please read!

If I could explain the "whys" of anything I do, I probably wouldn't be taking all this medication.

Wow. All I can say is wow. If this intro was the beginning of a book, I'd read it. So, kudos, your narrative voice must be pretty awesome. Love to see what you post.

I agree with whoever said they want to hear more. You've got an engaging style of writing.

What can you say that's original? Well that was a start. When I first got together with my partner we lived in a coach in an orchard for seven years so I know what you mean about the rain on the roof, that used to rock in high winds as well. Welcome to the forum.
