Thread: Hi everyone

I'm a freshman Journalism major and decided to search through google for some writing forums so that I could learn some tips from people that have been writing for much longer than me. I've written poetry and a few short stories for the past three or four years, but I'm always looking for ways to improve.

This isn't my first time a forum, I am a steady member and two forums currently and have helped to run many forums in the past, so I shouldn't act too much like a newbie.

But yeah, some of my favorite books are: 1984, Frankenstein, The Fountainhead, Moby Dick, The Kite Runner, That Hideous Strength, The Hobbit, and many more.

I look forward to getting to know many of you, and even more so I look forward to everything I have to learn from this forum.
