Hi, I'm David and new to writing - that is to say I only started writing in the winter of 2006 - and so far have managed a 'buncha' short stories of a lighthearted supernatural bent.
The stories are starting to pile up now, so I'm going to look for a way to progress with what I have so far as well as improving my skill, which I no doubt need to do quite considerably, as I have had little practice at it!
The stories compleated so far have been on average 18,000 words, but I have written a few 2,000 word stories which I submitted to a magazine, and was lucky enough to get one published in the latest issue of a monthly magazine - I wont mention the name in case it's not allowed, but the story is called: Confessions of a Doppelganger.
I hope this isn't all too irrelivent, just wanted to give a quick 'sorta kinda' overview...anyhoo, hiya, hope to be chatting to you guys in the forums soon.
