new to the site and very new to writing - Writers Forum

Hello
As the title says I am very new to the site and to writting. I love to read and have a ferocious appetite for the writen word. Mostly fiction.
I have started writting for my own enjoyment and at present have nothing to share.
I have visited this forum in the hope of finding like minded people that I may learn from .
At the moment I am trying to search for physical descriptions and personality characteristic for my characters .
For example ' he had blue eyes was 6foot 2 and built like a tank '
I wish there was some sort of list for eye colour , hair ect that I could tap in to for inspiration but cant seem to find one. I have sent away for writers rescurces books from Amazon
Well I know this is short but I have to go now

Hi Cria31, and welcome to the site. If you are serious about your desire to try your hand at writing, please at least learn how to spell the word, otherwise you might as well do something else instead.

Don't worry too much about eye colour, hair colour, and stuff like that. They tell the reader very little and characterisation rarely needs them. Look instead for those physical attributes that make a person stand out as an individual, and are of interest.
