A communication-challenged writer.

Hello. I recently turned 18 and more recently discovered my place in this world. I must write. I don't like writing but I really have no choice at all. I'm not cleaver with communication because my mind speaks in such a different language than my mouth. I'm learning how to translate it without causing it to conform to whatever language I use. It isn't easy for me. Anyway, I have wisdom that can not be shared in a few simple words no matter how hard I try. I must use the magic of imagination. Fiction will be my tool to lull the readers' defenses asleep; to gain the individual's soul's trust so that my words' meanings are absorbed, modified and reproduced properly. As I said before, I have trouble shaping my thoughts enough to communicate them. They are without measure. I have a tough time writing them and it's next to impossible for me to speak them. It's like making a soap bubble cubed without popping it.

I would appreciate any wisdom you have to share on the matter; or on any other matter for that matter...

First of all, welcome to the forum, Zedusk. Perhaps you could work with a co-author, who can best shape your thoughts? You thinking aloud... To me, writing is something that comes naturally, I don't have to think about it.

Realising this you have much more wisdom than half the coulmnists and others that bloat some newspapers columns (not all mind you) with thier drivel.

Anything thing worth doing will never be easy all the way, you are 18 by the time you are 25, or 30 or 50 you could bs signing autographs in Borders

I think it is called an idiolect, not sure though.

There is a struggle for me to get my mind language, my indigenous thought structures, translated into forms other people can understand. It's just too easy to lose people.

Language, what a bitch. The majority of what I write about is about communion, and language seems to really mess with that mojo.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts, man.
