Jackaroo is on a distinguished road
opening sentences...

... never been my strongest point.
There's all these forums on TV, music, and movies, and suddenly I figured, "hey, there must be one forum out there about books, and writers!" And so here I am, only a few Google click later.

First things first... I'm not a native speaker of English. And though I like to flatter myself and claim I'm very apt at it - I'm doomed to make mistakes. But I'll try my best to keep it to a minimum.

Something about me, then? I study English, and *of course* the Literature courses are my favourites. I have to admit I don't get around to reading much these days, though, as I'm busy with sports and whathaveyoumore.

I am waiting for the writing-bug to hit me, right now. It's really difficult for me to get started with something, because usually my mind is so flooded with the entirety of the story or, in particular, a character, that I have trouble channeling it. But sooner or later it'll come, and once I'm on a roll there's no stopping me. --- this not saying anything about the quality of my works...

See, I'm a born writer - I'm blah-blahing on, already. Cut me short! Haha,

Namaste,

Jackaroo

Namaste,

Jackaroo

Hi there, Jackaroo, and welcome to the forum. As you can guess, English is also my second language - although our languages are not quite the same, are they? Flemish and Dutch...
