Hello all you happy people!

Hello everyone. I'm sorry that the only title I could think of for my first post was a quote from Tom and Jerry The Movie. For those who don't know (probably everyone) "Hello, all you happy people," is said by Droopy Dog who makes a cameo appearance. There! Knowing that entitles my use, no, necessitates my use of the geek smiley.

Anyway, I'm 34 and married with one step daughter, but as I've brought her up for very little I love her as my own. I love reading, especially thrillers, writing and listening to music: New Wave, Grunge, Classical and New Wave of American Heavy Metal usually.

That's enough about me. Now I'll go look at a few other people's introductory threads.

I love reading all types of thrillers even grotesque ones that feature Hannibal Lector. I'm reading "The Quest Of Julian Day" by Dennis Wheatley and "It" by Stephen King at the moment. I've previously read novels by them both, especially Dennis Wheatley although I realise he isn't so fashionable nowadays. I enjoy him anyway, although I will agree that a few of his books are a waste of a few weeks of reading time.
