btw, i'm a siciliana, thanks to a maternal nanna, who was from messina and nannu, who was calabrese... unfortunately, my mother never taught me to speak the language, so i had to learn some bits of italian on my own, when i started traveling to italy and never did manage sicilian...
i'm sure you'll love it here in wf country... if that's your photo up there, we seem to also have 'elder' status in common as well, so drop me an email anytime you want to chat with a 'mature' paesana [i'm 67, so may have a few years on you]...
