Hello there!
Hi there. I'm from some small island-country that is visible on some maps and then not always. I just started writing again and hope I improve in time. Hopefully, there will be exercises and chances here for me to learn from.
Thank you!
Lucifiel

Wow, your responses are really swift!
Thanks, Titania! I'm trying to improve myself greatly but I hope I won't become too neurotic!!!! I wish I was able to differentiate between accents, the slight fluctuations/other aspects between British and American English and the other slangs in between and expand my sentences without shorting the narrator's/character's tones. And so many more things!
To Kalibantre:
No way, England(Britain, right?) is pretty cool and so are many other countries(if you can overlook the gruesome and depressing errors committed by the remaining species of the human race).

welcome welcome! *does a dance* lol just kidding! I'm not allowed to dance! I had a friend who once lived ina county that was on the map sometimes and then somtimes it wasn't, she got really mad about it but I don't see why. I think a whole island country(even if little) gone missin is a lot scarier. Hope you have fun!

Yeah, things move pretty fast around here
I'm pretty good with the differences between spelling, at least... one general rule is that anything that ends in -ize in american english is -ise in british. If nothing else that's one of the things WF is good for since we have people from all over the place!
Hope to see you posting soon
And lol, at least your location isn't constantly put in a tiny box off the coast of Mexico! That always drives me crazy...

Oh, I don't know. I tend to be overly self-critical and often have to tell myself: "Stop it. You're pretty good already." I guess perhaps I'm so accustomed to myself, I've been blinded to my self-worth.
Then again, I stopped writing for almost 6 to 8 years after leaving secondary school(equivalent of high school) so my writing is now quite elementary. It'd be a while before I can really produce more than a few pages' worth of words.

I guess your friend must be really loyal or nationalistic? Or just proud to be part of that country?
Hmmm... yeah, a whole island country disappearing is just freaky. Or interesting! I could see a magical scenario coming out of that. A country that reappears in a different position once every hundred years!
Thank you and I shall have some fun!

Does it? Well, I tried registered at writing.com and foward motion a while ago and it had so many posts and it was so confusing, I never went back again.
Thanks, though I know about that difference, there're still other instances like the "o" and "ou" thing. The problem is some words without the "ou" are both British and American. Ugh, drives me crazy!
Off the coast? What's so wrong with that?
