A late hello

Hi people, my name is Wade (hence my screenname)

I have actually been patrolling these forums for a few days, but didn't make an introduction because I thought once I got the advice I wanted, I would have no need to return to this site, but now I'm hooked.

This is a great little community that has been built up here.

To give you a basic idea of my writing history; I slept through english class during all of highschool, (passing only due to a warped creativity that set me apart from most)

I had no intention to become a writer, until my final year of school. It was the holidays, and I had no money and nothing to do, so I thought 'hell, I'll start writing a book. That'll kill some time.' But I didn't know how addictive writing can be.

That was over four years ago. I am now deeply obsessed with writing (I am still working on that same book, because it has gone through so many incarnations and am really close to completing it.)

I joined these forums to get advice about my story, and so far have been met with nothing but nice people. I am truly glad that I stumbled onto this site, and I hope I can give as much insight as I receive.

Have a great time here!

Thankyou. I have and I will.

Just a question, (for anyone who reads it) should I be replying to every message I recieve? It's in my nature to thank everyone for nice things they say and do for me, but I'm wondering if it seems a little too overzealous. I don't want to choke the threads up with redundant thankyous.

You dont have to reply to every message, but your doing nothing wrong by doing that i guess, some people wait till there are a few replies and some reply to each one, what ever you prefer.

A late welcome also. And you don't have to reply to what I say. Most of it's crap.
