Howdy folks.
I don't think I'm too good at intro posts, but here's my best shot...here's to hoping I don't babble too much. =x
So....yes.
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Occupation: College student trying to major in Cultural Anthropology
- on a side note: Occassionally I try out for musicals...luuuv the theater <3
Likes: Singing, tea, ballet, dancing, writing, reading, painting with my gouache when I'm not using prismacolor pencils, hitting the mall, tennis, baseball, college football (GO UT!), GWAR (but my music taste is really varied, because I change it every so often..I'm really wishy-washy when it comes to music xD), Italian food, historical fiction, fiction-fiction, putting salt on my fruit, ice cream, having Mayan roots, windy weather, and...well...certainly not trying to think up all the stuff I like. =(
Dislikes: The unbearably hot weather we get down here in Texas, my plain brown hair, not being able to decide if I like unliberal Texas because on the one hand...it IS home...
And I still dislike lists, but they're so efficient...dangit. =\
Favorite Actor: Christian Bale <3
Favorite Actress: Jessica Alba
Favorite Color: Ahhh...difficult. xD I like neutral colors, and then I also like green, blue and red.
Books Currently Reading: Geisha, by Liza Dalby; Girl with a Pearl Earing, by Tracy Chevalier; and Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
Writing Preference: I wish I could write historical fictions, but because the greatest attribute I have is an over-active imagination (not at all logical, though, to suit historical ficiton), I've only stuck to writing bits and starts of fictions that might be suitable for children to read. Mind you, I don't write short stories, or picture books - although sometimes I get tempted to draw illustrations - they are novels, intended to span into many chapters...it's just given the nature of their plots, they're quite childish. xD So...kid's fiction, I guess? It's not like I -love- kids or anything...but I do have 8 nieces and nephews (4 boys and 4 girls).
Inspiration: Music, if not that, pictures or old tales by Perrault, the brothers Grimm, or ballets will do it, too. Folklore is also quite handy.
Flaw: I start, re-start, and then re-start my re-start....I'm too picky. =(
Weellll...there's me. That should just about cover it. x.x; Better to be long-winded now then later, I guess. xD *shutsup*
