Uh, hey! ^^;

So I'm new to the forums. I've been looking around a bit, seems pretty nice, and finally - an active one! It's sort of weird how when you search on google you sometimes get forum posts from like 2002 or something and you're like, wazzat?! But anyways...

I like writing and I've done so ever since I started, which I did when I wanted to impress Mom like my older sisters. But now it's become a very nice, calming hobby and maybe one day I'll find myself getting paid for doing it.

I'm 13 right now, and I've been actively writing since I was about seven or so, before that I would basically rewrite stories I had read. I haven't written anything for a bit though since NaNo, I think it sort of killed all my writing motivation. Funny thing is the ideas won't stop coming, so I thought maybe I'd find somewhere on the net to go to.

I also draw a lot, mostly portraits, and last year I was in a track/field competition with the school, but of all the hobbies I've ever had writing is the one that has stayed with me for nearly half my life (which, when I say that, sounds a lot longer than it really is).

And now I'm blabbing. But I guess blabbing makes me feel at home, so don't mind me, lol. ~_^ I'm probably just excited since I found a place where I can come and amuse myself.

EDIT: You guys can call me Kala if you want. ^_^

Hello kalrarii, welcome to the forum, i had an online friend who was in Finland, he used to show me photos online that he would take from his room window, what a beautiful country it looks.

Lol, he used to joke about the cold a lot and say that he was going to get more ice cream, even though the temperature outside was well below zero.

There's nothing like icecream during the winter, lol. ^_^ At least it doesn't melt and you don't even have to leave the box in the freezer, just outside in the snow.
