Hi everyone!

Well, I'm new here, so here's my obligatory newbie message!

Hmm. My name's Molly, I'm a college student studying computer science, and I'm not a professional writer by any means but I do love it as a hobby. My favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy and I one day hope to write something decent enough to be published, though for the moment It's just something to do when I should be doing programming homework I've always been told I'm good at writing though and I came here to improve my skills. I was heartbroken after nanowrimo ended and their forums became more or less like a ghost town, so I found this place via a google search for writing forums. Anyway, that's me, in a nut shell

Hm, I do programming when I should be doing homework. So that slides me even further down the geek scale...

blademaster -- hehee, that's excellent. Nerd Power! Things always become so much less fun when you *have* to do them. As I recall, I hated writing for high school english, and would have rather been programming had I known how at that point

gohn -- I finished past 50K, but I didn't finish the story. I was going to, but I sort of lost interest and am working on a different story now. I'll probably come back to it, though, as I do want to write that delicious ending scene...

Welcome to the forums, Molly. And well done with NaNoWriMo, by the way. I sorta... dropped out.

Enjoy your stay.

One of my online friends started a forum for The beatles a long time ago now and its a ghost town now. Everyone pretty much left. when it got down to 4 people he decided to not bother with it again. Its kinda sad sometimes how that happens. Esspecially if the forum and people in it were getting along well and having fun.

I think I'd be upset if this forum became a ghost town or the classic rock one I went to. Lucily though this looks very active. I hope to read some of your writing in the future, and I hope you enjoy it here.
