not good at following directions
I don't usually post in the 'introduce yourself' section of forums, but as the welcomebot was kind enough to send me a message requesting it, I figure I might as well. I'm not always so good at following rules; I blatantly ignored the request that I 'not jump right in and start posting immediately' as there was a post that I really needed to respond to. However, in reading over the posting guidelines I found that I hadn't violated any of the rules, so whatever.
Let's see... I've been writing for my whole life, basically. It's just that until a few years ago most of the writing I did was for school, and as fun as that sounds it's not really my bag, baby. Since I stopped doing schoolwork I've become interested in creative non-fiction and memoirs in particular and dabbled in poetry a bit (but I don't really like poetry much so I don't try too hard). At the moment I consider myself to be gathering source material by having an interesting life and doing and meeting interesting/unique things and people. Mmmm... that seems pretty good for now. Any questions?
