woman...

woman...this river - risen from Love's Sacred Spring -forever flowing and fluorescingsupports her lightships, swans and lilysailscaresses sweetly with her autumnveilseach fragile figure living by her sideswhile in her depths a golden soul abides...this stream - ascended from an edge of time -would mellow mountains by her mystic rhymea dream, a flame, a woman and a childher faithful mildness never running wildforever cherishing and motheringthis river - risen from Love's Sacred Spring...Drs. This poem has been written for a very special woman, a dear friend of mine, who lives in California. Many years ago I lived there myself... Back then I was a poet already and by now I am also a scientist in Dutch Linguistics, Literature & Culture. This since I went to college at Leiden (Holland) University in 1999 and graduated there in 2003. I write poetry as well as prose and you could visit my own website through: http://najade1893.tripod.com and http://360.yahoo.com/drsrikki From there you would find your way to more websites... I would love to talk to friends of poetry and literature! At this time I am writing a novel about the way the Dutch social legislation works (not the way it should...). Still poetry seems to be what I live for! Please feel free to contact me. I write in Dutch, English, French and German.

Love & Light,

Drs. Rikki Keller

Hallo Tumbleweed! I'm Nickie, and I'm Belgian. I write in Dutch and English (am not so good in French). I studied at the Univeristy of Gent. In those old days, the study was called "Germaanse Filologie"; it included many fields beside literature and linguistics. Even took up a course of Swedish then.

welcome, rikki!... i'm curious... what does 'Drs.' stand for?... is it some variant of 'Dr./doctor'?

i'm a fairly full time poet myself, so am always happy to see new [or 'old'] ones join the forum... i've only written a few of my works in french, though... and no dutch or deutsch... feel free to browse my site, if you can handle philosophic poetry [i call it 'philosetry'] with a definite 'edge'...

i'm sure you'll enjoy your time on the forum...

love and hugs, maia
