Although I've been writing for years I'm working on my first book. Whether one would call it a novel or not is debatable. It is a series of short stories where characters and plot intermingle within the stories. I suppose it is a novel for lack of a better description.

No, not a comic series. Although the story I'm working on currently is humorous others are thought provoking, light or dark.
It wasn't until later that I realized your reference to a comic series was probably not what I was thinking. Call it staying up too late.

I'm doing something sort of like that. Except it really is a series. Each book is about a different person or group of people, but they're all connected in some way. Each and every one a little pawn in my plot.
