Hello!
Hi! My name is Alexandra, though I often go by Indigo/Indygo (if the first spelling is taken), and I'm from St. Louis, MO, USA. I've been lurking around here for a while, mainly on the Writers' Tips section. I recently graduated with an English/Creative Writing major, and I'm hoping to get a teaching certificate for high school English some time soon. I like to write creative nonfiction and fantasy, and I love to read fantasy and scifi. I also ride horses, play video games (and mourn the fact that the majority of gamers often make the rest of us look bad), and plot everything from world domination to tomorrow's breakfast.
I've never been published before, but it seems I'm about to be, on my first or second attempt. Has anyone heard of Dorrance Publishing? I want to find out a little about them before I fully commit. I'll ask about it in the publishers forum, too.
I guess now that I've joined, I'll have to post a little more often, and maybe lurk just a bit less. Alas, I'm usually more of a lurker!
