And my writing has evolved to....here.

Let me just be completely honest...I started writing when I was 12 years old. I started writing fiction stories about my favorite band- Hanson. Yes, I said it. Hanson. 7 years later...I'm 19. Yes, for those curious, I am still a big Hanson fan. They are still alive. They still do concerts. I'll be seeing five this fall.

But the point is, through my years as a Hanson fan I've written 6 novels using their names. In most cases, the characters have their names but are not famous. In fact, you could simply change the names of their characters and it would just be...your average story. But it's what's kept me writing. It gives me inspiration. And honestly? I'm a writer who knows how hard it is to find an audience. My audience is huge because of writing what they call "fanficition." I get 1,000 hits on my webpages a month? Not bad.

I've discovered through all this that my true passion is writing, and I am looking forward to leaving my Hanson behind and moving on to start writing for the real world. I'm in college now, and I think it's a good time to really start looking at this professionally.

Despite everything, my most famous Hanson story is called Rockerball. It's won awards in the fan fiction realm...but thats not much of an accomplishment I suppose. You're welcome to check it out if you'd like. The concept behind the story and the twist at the end of it are what make it successful. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the link is working right now:

That's my intro! Please welcome me with open arms, Hanson fan or not.

Welcome, Rockerball.

Glad to see you here. This is my first time here, too. I jumped over to your site and read a good bit of your fanfic piece, Rockerball. I have to say that it was quite good and I think you have potential. The dialogue, especially.

Just wanted you to know that someone who dislikes Hanson did appreciate your writing

Bye.
