Hi guys and gals,

I'm Chris aka TheIrishAvenger. I'm 33, been writing probably since my teens and more intensely since my early twenties. I do the occasional short story, a lot of poetry, and a bit of prose as well. I'm a warranty admin for a GM dealership by trade. Most of my writing is the product of a generous portion of alcohol, a dark and fertile mind, and the right moment. It's impromptu inebriated inspiration, I guess.
I have a lot of questions, and I might submit something for you to take a gander at if you so desire. Now that I've read some of the stuff on here, I've definitely decided that my stuff sucks by comparison quite a bit more than my family and friends who've read my stuff have led me to believe. Oh well.
This looks like a good resource and I hope to learn a lot. I hope to have fun.

welcome to the ship's complement, chris... if you write your prose 'n poetry as well as you did your intro, it can't be all that bad!... even your intro's title hooked me... and i'm pretty darn hard to hook, as any who've been here a while can tell ya...
