Just joined the other day - a very interesting forum. Me? I'm an ex-technical author and publications specialist to the energy industries. So, I've made a good living out of words for, well, as far back as I can remember.
Have plied my trade in places as far afield as Saudi Arabia, Libya, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Indonesia, Canada and Equatorial Guinea. A published author (non-fiction) I have just completed my first fiction work, an anthology of short stories (very dark, mysterious) and hope to sign a deal with an agent next week.
I'm a frustrated screenwriter - frustrated - in that it's been my experience that to break into film you're certainly going to need connections. I have studied the art of screenwriting off and on for 10 years and have a cracking script ready now. Perhaps maybe someone on here could help?
