Hello
Hello. I'm new to the forum. My name is Julian Gallo and I am a writer from New York City who has had 5 poetry chapbooks published by various small presses and has had poetry appear in about 40 journals throughout the U.S. Canada and Europe. I also just completed my first novel. I'm looking forward to meeting some interesting people and discussing all things writing.

Hello....that was quick. Thanks for replying. I'm not as accomplished as you would think. Mostly small press stuff....most of whom are non-existent at this point. I'm still very much an unknown writer, believe me, though I've been trying (as I'm sure most of us here are).

I think this forum is great. I've been looking for a place where there are a lot of writers around to bat things back and forth. It's hard to reach out to other writers. At least I find it to be. Here in NYC, there are so many people trying to do the same as you but you often find it hard to connect with them for a variety of reasons (the biggest one being ego-tripping) so I was glad to find this site while surfing the net. There are a lot of interesting topics to delve into. I've only just joined this forum about an hour or two ago. I think it's really cool.
