Hooray for newbies
Hi. I'm totally new here. So... yeah.
I want to write. At any given time, there are dozens of fragments of ideas buzzing around my head, and if I could just get even a few of them down on paper that would be an accomplishment. I have started many stories, and finished rather few. I have written a great deal of poetry however, but I'll be frank, most of it follows simple song structure and is pretty juvenile at times.
Which makes sense being that I am of the juvenile classification. (Almost gave my exact age there.) My father is military, so I've moved around more than some. My two greatest talents probably lay in writing and advanced math. My math skills are probably more developed, ironic, since I hate math and never want to suffer through it ever again.
But I digress...
I am, forever, a lover of science fiction. I have a great appreciation for fantasy, and most other genres as well.
I try to be deviant in my writing (though not in my poetry). Though there's nothing wrong with a good old fashioned good vs. evil rumble, I can't help but find life more complex and confusing than that sort of scenario. Don't be surprised if my main characters don't always know exactly which side they are on, or if their are no clear cut sides to begin with.
Oh here I am, getting all of your expectations up. Time to stop rambling and post something.
