Yo, Yo, Yo

Hey...I guess I'm new here.

I've been writing short stories for years, but haven't really shared them with anybody. I've attempted several novels, but I just don't have the will power to stay with any one subject.

I live in VA.

...

That is about it...

Hey, again.

To paraphrase Geoffrey Rush in Quills, 'Welcome to our humble madhouse, FW, I'm sure you'll find yourself at home.'

Stop by the short stories section and post some of your work. Great bunch of folks they be.

Cheers,

Andy

greetings.

I have the same problem with novels - you'll find that a lot of people on here have inspiring ways of helping you get over it.

post up some of your short stories - i'm always hovering over that forum splashing my critiques about, so i'll be glad to have a look.

and i'm usually pretty positive...usually.

lol

Welcome to WF! Don't forget that while giving feedback and advice to others is not compulsory, it is appreciated greatly. It might even increase the number of responses you get on your own work.

Post, critique, and be merry.

Welcome! I'm not sure how to get you over the hump with novels, but short stories can make money too. I'm sure someone here will be able to help you with either.

Greetings Flatworld. I also find that the most interesting part of writing novels is the beginning. I get too bored with the subject to ever see any of them through.
