Just a bit about me...
Howdy... Just a few quick notes about myself. My main interests are Horror, Fantasy, and Historical fiction. I've been away from writing for awhile (too long) because of family issues. Working on making a comeback and I'm suddenly remembering how self absorbed and reclusive you can become.
When I'm not writing I'm usually reading, watching a movie, or wishing I had my motorcycle back.
I'm looking forward to posting some stuff and trading some feedback.
Ray

I'm from San Antonio...
As for the bike, it was a GpZ750 in racing trim. Fast in its day, but probably not much of a match for some of the street rockets today. I had to put a lot of money and work into that bike to make it as fast as what most bikes today can do off the showroom floor. *sigh*
Not complaining though, it was a labor of love...
I got rid of it when I got married with the intention of getting something newer. Instead of the bike though I got two kids, three dogs, a parakeet, and a mortgage.
Not entirely a bad trade though, when you consider my bike never greeted me at the door with a huge hug and a "DADDY!"
But I do miss it soooooo.......

My wife is from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The only thing I did to my bike was put a smaller sprocket on the front. It needed new fairings and the rims painted since it was dark green with purple rims lmao. I lost one fairing at night. I was moving at a nice clip when I felt something sorta tap my foot. The next morning I brought the green machine out and let it warm up. When I went back out to hop on it I noticed it looked different...then I noticed the fairing was gone...gave it sort of a terminator look. I took off the other fairing so it matched. It didn't really look that bad. lol
Well good luck on getting a new one!

Hey, I just noticed your in IL! My wife is from Belleville. In fact we lived there for about 5 years before moving back to Texas. We moved back here because of a job offer.
It was nice up there, but I never realy adapted to the long winters well. I especially hated chipping my car out of a block of ice to go to work. Weather wise we Texans are a bit pampered. I decided when I want snow I'll watch it on TV. My wife on the other hand, hates the weather here.

I used to live in NC and moved here for a job lol (in N. Aurora).
The winters are a lot different, snow everywhere and cold!
In the end I'm going to have to move some place where it's about 68-73 all year around with about 50% humidity. I guess that rules out TX and IL :p

Thanks every one.
I'll be posting some of my work soon. Right now everything I have is hard copy and I've not been up to retyping / revising (I am incapable of doing one without the other) lately.
I've been away from writing for awhile and anything newer than 10 years old is on notebook paper.
I'm currently working on a series of fiction intended for the Black Press set in the Warhammer fantasy world. I discovered the market is closed right now, but I don't want to abandon the work.
Not sure where I'm going with it right now...
