A cave man with a zippo is here.

I'd like to welcome myself first of all because I like the attention. Anyway I'm just here to introduce myself to you all, I'm 17 so I'm a young writer. I've written poetry for about four or five years now but am looking to branch out to stories. I guess my favorite thing when i write it to use metaphors and similes just because it adds "spice" to writing. Anyway I hope to not only gain somthing from the forum, but to be able to contriubute somthing as well.

Welcome to you. I too began with poetry and now write the occasional short story as well as getting into the Nanowrimo novel writing in 2003. I hope you like the forums as much as I do.

Welcome LostWords. Looks like you're navigating the forums okay and making new friends. We look forward to having you post to the Poetry section if you haven't already. Although I'm not an afficionado of poetry I browse them occasionally.

Look forward to reading your work.
