Noob Detected!
Hi everyone!
I'm new here. I'm a student in college, not communicating my age to anyone, and living in US. Just in case you want to know, I have great interests in science and philosophy. I guess it's important to know, but my goal in this forum is to improve my writing skill and also to enjoy the art of writing from you all in here. That's it for the noob's announcement. Thank you!

Hello and a warm welcome to Writingforums
It's a pleasure to meet you.
If you're looking to improve your writing, I'd say you've found exactly the right place - the forum is busy and filled with writers of all abilities - from complete beginners to published authors, and everything in between.
You'll find it's a really friendly place. Post your own writing, help others with theirs, join in a few conversations, and you'll quickly find yourself making new friends.
Anyway, hope to see you around the site. Have a lot of fun!
All the best,
Spudley.

I'm fairly new myself, but already this forum has cut my productivity in more than half. Hope you find the same pleasure procrastinating your responsibilities while browsing this site as I do.
Look forward to reading your stories and critiques.

I'd like to extend a late, better than never though, welcome. Hope you have been enjoying it here as much as I do. Ilan is right, this ends up being a fantastic cause of procrastination. The good side to that though is you are actually learning, having fun,and helping others while you do it. That is why I don't mind it somuch, and because there are so many great people here. Have fun.

Green Eyes, I'm Sox. Have a cookie, and welcome! I'm looking forward to seeing your writing. What kinds of things do you write?
