Seatings and Malmutations!

Hello,

Well, where to start... I'm an aspiring writer of varying talent who spells horribly. I've written for a news paper, but am still in pursuit of my (a) degree. I'm finally focusing on my writing between work and family, as I feel I am being tugged in that direction like a stage cane around my spine. However, I frequently question myself as I've known to have more belief in my ability to do something than I have talent to do it. I'm hoping that writing isn't one of those things at this stage in my life.

I love writing poetry, short stories, essays. One day I'd like to write a book, but that is many many years off from where I believe I sit now. Either way, it'll be an interesting ride.

I love to wax philisophical at nearly any level below the surface, and am extremely annoyed with ignorance. Especially when it is my own.

I live in Oregon, specifically Eugene. I work far too much, and don't spend enough time with family...

Don't quite know what else to say.. so I'll stop here.

Jon Limer

Hello and welcome to the forums Jon!

I look forward to seeing some of your work when you post. Hopefully we'll get to see the start and the finish of your novel also, no matter how far distant that may be. Enjoy yourself, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact a Mentor.

Welcome! I hope you do get to write that book someday. Until then, I wouldn't mind making do with some of your short stories...

See you around the forums.
