Hey...
Heeeey, I just joined. Figured it was apart f the protocol to come and post in here first. I've been writing since I was 12, I'm a competant Sci-Fi, Fantasy, action and war stories. As well as philsophy essays for school and because I'm bored. I have started a lot and finished nothing as I have a short attention span (I usually get thirty or so thousand words in and give up).
I got bored with other forums I was a part of because they were quite immature, so I've turned to writing forums and so far the experience has been great.
Peace.

My main pleasant surprise was the maturity of this forum too! I hope you like it here. It's a very good place to develop your skills in ways you couldn't manage otherwise. Welcome.

Welcome, SoulSprinner. I am always up for good Sci-Fi and Fantasy. If you ever need anything, please feel free to send me or one of my fellow mentors a PM.
Have fun!

War stories? Really, that's different. Do you write them or just enjoy reading them? They must require an awful lot of research. Enjoy the writing forums.

Welcome to the forums SoulSprinner!
I'm sure that you'll find this forum nothing like the others you've been to. My main love is horror, fantasy, and sci-fi writing, so I look forward to seeing some of your stories. I hope you enjoy your stay. Like Daniela said, if you need anything, just ask a Mentor.

Um, I adapt conflicts into SCi-Fi if I don't know enough about them (eg. vietnam) but I know a great deal about the happenings of WW2 and Iraq. I also know a lot about the weapons used there (despite the fact I've never fired a gun in my life and don't especially like them). So yeah, I either write about WW2 or Sci-Fi based on Vietname, WW1 (trech combat) etc etc.
Thanks guys, peace.
