Hi everyone, So glad I found you! I'm Tina, an entrepreneur for several years now. I've devoted most of my time to my favorite passions and they are helping those who deire to publish a book get published and producing music for those who desire to do their own CD's or spoken words. I'm looking forward to the camaderie! Forgive me, in my signature I forgot to put my web address which is www.publishing4less.com. I will try to figure out how to place it in my signature later. I really hope that you're here to contribute to the forum, and not just attract clients to your business. That would just be a little too mercenary for my tastes.

I joined for the sole purpose of networking with other writers and publishers. Traditional ways of marketing has worked just fine for us and I don't use the forums to promote my company. Someone made a recommendation to me about this site and I decided to join. Please don't assume that people that join and mention their business is looking for advertisement. I've been doing this for years successfully without the forums. If being rude is what this site is all about, then I've made a serious mistake in joining. And yes, Rhonda is just as passionate. I couldn't ask for a better partner! I just wanted to introduce myself and publishing is a part of who I am and what I do full-time. Thanks for being concerned.

Welcome, tclark! Some of us who have been members for a while have become a little wary because there are people who come here just to spam the various forums and promote their businesses, websites, forums, magazines, or books. Please do not take that as a sign that you are not welcome. I would not presume to speak for anyone but myself, but I do have to say the wording of your post gave me the wrong idea about you at first. When I reread your introduction, this time I noticed the bit about you "looking forward to the camaraderie." Someone just scanning your post might miss that small line and come to the same conclusion that I did.

I do hope you will give WF a chance. We really are a friendly bunch and I think you would be a good addition to this community. If you decide to stay and run into any problems or have some questions, please feel free to contact one of the mentors.
