An introduction is in order
Greetings,
It has been four or five years since I have been involved in a Writer's Forum of any kind. I have recently finished my more recent technical writing project and opted to retreat from the grind of factory-based technical writing and open my home-based office. I hope to start a small writing group out of my local library this coming spring, and am very confident that this writing forum will provide me with the motivation and interaction to get the creative embers burning. I look forward to the conversations we will have!

Thank you for welcoming me... and I will be sure to wipe my feet. No need to share the Maine snow by tracking it into the website.

Welcome to the forums. I hope you have as much fun here as I do.
Good luck with starting a writing group. I wish you success in all of your ventures.
See you around sometime!

Hello Daniela - Thanks for the welcome note. Did you find navigating around the forum frustrating at first?

Not really, but I have a knack for figuring out how things work fairly quickly (it's not just with forums--games, jobs, toys, electronics...). If you need any help, please feel free to ask me or someone else on the Mentor team.

Welcome!
I am encouraged by your idea of getting a community-based writer's group started in your area. That is just inspiring.
Hope you encounter what you seek to achieve here and much more.

Hello and welcome Felicia!
Starting a writing group sounds great! I wish you the best of luck. I look forward to seeing around the forums. Like Daniela said, if you need anything, just ask a Mentor. One of us should be able to help you. Have a great time!
