Greetings...
...nice to meet everyone.
I'm an avid reader of the Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Michael Crichton genre. I used to write short stories and poetry constantly when I was high school and college. Well, as I entered real life I found myself drifting away from writing. Now, I'm trying to get back into it.
Again, nice to meet everyone and I look forward to reading some of your work and, in return, I hope you enjoy what I have to post.

Thanks for the welcome folks. I appreciate it.
And Darl Aevin--YES! I'm a HUGE Dark Tower fan (and any King work for that matter). Just finished reading VII last week. Stephen definitely knows how to tell a story.
Thanks again folks.

You too? I finished the last one last week as well. Very impressive, though a little depressing at times. "The Wastelands" is probably my favorite book of all. I only wish . . . my favorite character . . . What is it with Jake and cars?!

Yeah, Jake was the one I was saddened by the most (other than Susan Delgado in WaG). Stephen shows no pity when killing off characters. My favorite is probably Wizard and Glass. That one had me turning page after page although Wastelands is a close second. I still need a little time to digest the last two because they came out so recently and I read them so quickly.
At least Jake and Eddie seem to arrive at a happy ending.

Welcome to the forums Axeman!
I'm also a huge fan of Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I am holding off on reading the last three books of The Dark Tower until I re read the first four. I read The Gunslinger in 1990, so want to revisit before moving on.
Hope you enjoy your stay here.
