I'm new around here and I have some ideas!
Hello! I'm an American living in Spain and therefor have a great premesis for a non-fiction (or perhaps fiction) novel. My life here so far could fill several books and I've actually started a non-fiction account of my life here so far. ANd although I have PLENTY of time to work on it, I can't seem to sum up the self discipline to do so. I also feel that I'm lacking in complicated language. Meaning my writing is quite simple. I used to be a jurnalist for a newspaper, but now I'm teaching English to Spanish children and loving it. I have vowed that the only writing I will ever do again is for myself, i. e. a book. Newspaper reporting is about 10% writing and 90% research and interviewing, which I hate.
I'd love to hear from you, especially any expats!
