My debut -waves to random people- Hello!
Hello everyone! My name is Felicity, but I prefer Flyk by far; hence the username. I am currently in high school, so a lot of my writing will probably be from my English lessons. I enjoy writing and I'm currently working on a fantasy novel, but it hasn't progressed much past the character development. Hopefully I'll get some time to work on it soon... I spend a lot of time on roleplaying forums, which I find is a good way to help with writers block and I use it to exercise my characters. Meh... I also write poetry, but it's not that great. I'm very critical of my own work.
Outside of my writing, I like playing the cello, reading, writing, drawing, and a few other random things that no one would find interesting.
So... yeah... that's me! Kinda...
And I'm a hopeless perfectionist. One of my embarrassing habits is my obsession with proofreading everything to make sure that the majority of spelling is correct, and, as far as I can see, the grammer is at least at a credible standard.

I had considered purposely filling my reply with grammatical and spelling errors, but then I realised it was childish for me to test you in this way. So instead, I will play the role of schoolteacher and assign you to write an essay on the greatness of Pawn. You had better start researching as you only have until our resident penguin reads this thread to complete your homework.

And that doesn't mean that I don't have my lazy days... I think someone on a roleplaying forum I go on got a screenshot of me writing like a n00b. I'll see if I can get the link to it.

-sigh- Lucky me... guess I'd better start researching soon.
And it's Flyk, but I won't press the issue at the moment.
I'd been looking for a good writing forum for a while, and so far it seems as though I've found the right place.
