A word about the author...

First, I would like to take the opportunity to compliment the creators and members of this forum. It looks to be a well managed treasury of ideas and insights where writers can congregate amongst friends and peers.

I have been writing science fantasy stories for more than 3 decades. It is my passion. Unfortunately, I'm just not very good at it.

In real life, I am a mild-mannered code writer and electronics geek. Actually, I'm a burly 250 lb man who enjoys picking up heavy objects and throwing them for fun while wearing a plaid skirt. It's called the Scottish Games.

I have been a member of many "private" writers clubs and enjoy reading and critiquing others work. And while my opinions may sometimes be pointed, they are always meant to help, never hurt.

As far as my own work goes, I am neither pig-headed nor thin-skinned. Please tell me exactly what you think about my writings. Anything else won't help either of us.

My other hobby includes digital paintings and 3D modeling. You can see some of my work (the good and the bad) at my online gallery:

Oh I love the Scottish games. I hope you are thick skinned if you have to wear a plaid

Welcome and have fun

Ok, not like me at all (I'm about 100 lbs lighter, and have never worn a plaid skirt, or thrown anything all that heavy).

Anyway, enjoy, and I'll see you around

Welcome to the forums! =) Ah deviantart! I love that site, though not a member myself (can't draw if her life depended on it) but I love the artwork there. ^^ Enjoy your stay. Hope to see some writing from you soon, and see you around. Nyao~!
